The Gammas formed after the demise of Will and Jordan's former band Nugs and Nachos. They recruited two brothers, Kevin and Thomas under the name Thought-Crime and the band recorded a 7 track original EP under that name. Soon after, Kevin left the band for personal reasons, and this left the band to record their second EP entitled Gilgongo! (named after a song from their first EP) Nick was then recruited after the EP to play the bass, and soon after Thomas quit the band. regardless the band is attending recording sessions to compose their first full-length, self-titled album with the illustrious Paulie Cunningham at KilUrSelph Stewdios. Randy P. Strife originally was going to be featured but shortly after recording sessions Clay Dumaw joined the band.
