Musical Brawlers Kick Ass
Beware cyber-folks, eye witnesses say a brawl is coming from Turku, Finland. With lightning fast riffs and thundering drums, one blast from the Gangster of Love, and you won’t know what hit you. But when you come to, you’ll be wanting more.
The Gangster’s smokin’ hot explosive concoction of rock, blues and rockabilly takes no prisoners, and leaves scorched fans in their wake. Lead singer and guitarist Hank Barnfellow’s deep, wailing voice and soulful screaming guitar smacks of Texas blues-rock legend Stevie Ray Vaughn, with the vocal impact of a 30-ought-six. From one lightening riff to the next, GO-GO, Barnfellow and Jack Crane thrash their guitars into a musical stupor, while Colt Cannister flogs the drums with six-shooter speed. Just as you surrender to their saturated hard-hitting rock-blues riffs, they coldcock you with a countrified rockabillly twang that could have come straight from the moonshine-filled bluegrass hills of Kentucky.
Eye witnesses to the musical brawl have been left battered and stunned. One witness stated, “I’m not sure what just happened, that was totally bad ass man!”
They may leave you wondering whether you’ve been kissed or pistol whipped, but fear not, law abiding cyber-folks, you’re sure to be blown away by the Gangster of Love.
Gangster of Love had some crack shots this year in the music world! They landed a recording contact with Kenola Records. The band then started recording with a superstar producer, Brian Fitzpatrick! Mr. Fitzpatrick has become one of the most well respected producers, working with legends like B.B. King, as well as new talent, like My Chemical Romance and Eminem.
This Cd was mastered by Mike Fuller from Fullersound studio U.S.A who have been working with nearly everybody world wide.
2009 is going to be huge for the boys up north. The CD is now finally done and out for sail.
Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes £leTriKa style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
