About me: This dog park was established thanks to the dedicated work of Betsy Ruppa and The Providence Dog Park Association.
From 195 take the Gano Street exit. If you're on 195 East (heading away from 95), take a left off the exit. If you're on 195 West (heading towards 95), take a right off the exit. In a very short distance, you will see a Dunkin' Donuts on the right. The driveway to the parking area in just before the donut shop. The large dog's park entrance is on the left, behind the basketball courts. On the right side of the courts is the entrance to the small dog's park.
Please read and follow the park's protocol for use before entering at the gate.
Who I'd like to meet: All dogs whose handlers know their behavior and monitor them closely for signs of aggression. You should know not all dogs are dog park dogs.
I just wanted to let all of Bailey's friends from GSDP know that he died Tuesday evening. He had been quite ill for the last few months. He was a treasure.

Thank you so much for adding me to your friends list. There's a dog park in Memphis that I used to go to before moving back to Alabama and it was so great for the pooches. I think that there ought to be more parks like that.

Hi Gano Street Dog Park, I just wanted to tell you all about this dog Calvin who really needs a home. He's a 6 month old husky mix and shouldn't get bigger than 45-50 lbs. He is a good boy who likes other dogs. He has a sister who needs a home too! He is going to be rescued by Critter Cavalry (the same people who rescued Chayse) They're great and will drive him up this way for you. Please help find a missing pit-bull in the Central Falls/Blackstone Mills area. "Katana" ran off yesterday (8/30) while her owners were in the process of moving. She is 12 yrs old, approx. 55 lbs, brindle colored and last seen wearing a bluish-green collar. She is not chipped and was not wearing tags at the time.
