was first used as my nickname by a drunken friend in
1990

the moment i heard it i knew immediately that one day i´m going to lead a band with this name.
i started the project in
2001
and we became the stageband in porgy & bess vienna for one year.
in the beginning we played only original compositions,later i also started to arrange tunes.
the line up changes from seven to eleven musicians with a focus on the horns.
it´s either 2tp,2tb,3reeds,bass,fender rhodes,2dm (largest set up) or
2tp,1tb,2reeds,bass,dm (smallest)
