I am a voracious reader. I have an interest in poetry, speaking, story-telling, journalism, life and religion and writing down my personal thoughts or opinion.
One of the best ways I can help pull myself out of the blue is helping other people who have problems of their own. Most of the people I see are far worse than I am, yet they are working, smiling, laughing and talking . . . trying to do what they can to make the best of their situation. Giving time to others is a very good way to get "outside" of our own situation even if it is an hour a day or a week. I like meeting new friends and sharing ideas. I love to meet in all walks of life, learn their peculiarities and idiosyncracies. I am interested in the welafre of the disadvantaged and marginal people. I usually join civic-oriented organizations.
I am basically a quiet person except when I do my seminars. I have a lot of hobbies and interests that I prefer doing alone. I find a quiet place in my room for quiet reflections. I also have a regular get together with my family.
I like coaching, mediating, and organizing others for a common cause.
I am a computer buff and and do lot of net surfing. I also enjoy communicating with other people through internet, e-mail, chat or via cyberspace.
I have a profound interest in nature. I love sceneries. I even enjoy incorporating symbols and icons into my lectures, primers and in my presentations. I go scene-tripping in my favorite quiet place. I never feel lonely when I go for a walk by the river. I have a thing for ocean, lake or streams.
I usually collect items of personal significance to me like motivational quotes, poetry, stories, reflections and put them on my Spirit Chest so that when I'm out of the blue I open it and reacquint myself with its contents.
