Pearlington, MS - post-Katrina visit - August 30, 2006
This is the town that has been forgotten.
..
Driving in on Hwy 604, the thing I noticed about Pearlington was that at least they had their trees and nature in general looked green. Unlike Waveland (just a few miles east) which has thousands of dead pines and other trees and Live Oaks stripped of branches and most of their leaves.
..
No place to shop. No bank. No School. St. Joseph's Catholic Church destroyed.

"Profound Disconnect" - Katrina inspired mixed media on canvas. Acrylic, E-mails printed on acetate...emails exchanged between me and friends on the coast in advance of Katrina, then afterwards my "searching for" emails when communications were down.

Who I'd like to meet: My Volvo, Greenie, all refurbished and restored, that's who I'd like to meet. For now, I dream on as she sits slowly disintegrating. "Long may you run, long may you run, with your chrome heart shining in the sun, Long may you run" – Neil Young

Love 'em! I keep the same ones for ever then cash 'em out. I'm just trying to stay busy, do some renovations on the studio and find time to make noise. Cheers to you!
Nice to hear from you, hope all is well there. We're always happy to hear that people have heard some of the "off myspace" tracks. Thanks for writing, kind regards, Rob
May your day be filled with happiness, joy, and lots and lots of lovely jubbly presents. And if you could save me a piece of cake, that would be simply smashing.
Toodle-pip! Enjoy your day. Kisses and cuddles from your number one pal, the Travelocity Roaming Gnome. Hurrah! xxx
