"If ever a band name was an example of truth in advertising, Garage Deluxe is a classic case. Made up of local rock veterans, Garage Deluxe shows absolutely no shame in drawing inspiration from classic rock. These guys sound like they've tuned their radios to some long-lost 1970s album-rock station, but they are copies of nobody. Stevie Jones has an earthy and expressive voice and a funky keyboard style. Guitarist John Montgomery knows just when to stretch out and when to end a solo, and bassist Chad Farmer and drummer Andrew Bryant combine for a tight rhythm section.
While the band members know how to jam, they know a jam doesn't have to break the five-minute mark, and they know the importance of keeping some of the musical edges rough and lively. Garage Deluxe is a reason to keep the garage doors open." -
Wayne Bledsoe - Knoxville News Sentinel
"Definately filed under the Southern Rock label, Garage Deluxe shares an affinity with Widespread Panic, The Black Crowes, and even hints of Queen. But a jam band they are not." -
Paige M. Travis, The Metro Pulse
"Great songs, the guitar is hot and in the pocket, the keyboards are extraordinary and the rhythm section is tight." -
Jim Dickinson, legendary musician/producer
"Garage Deluxe is helping to breathe new life into the revival of the Southern Rock sound. They are a talented crew destined to leave their mark on the music and all who listen to it." -
