We're a worship band. We write songs to sing together. We aim to make everything we sing drip in the true emotion which comes from knowing what God has revealed about himself in scripture.
We first got together as the Sydney University Evangelical Union's 2004 annual conference band. After that we were overwhelmed by the need for evangelical worship leaders in Sydney. So we made some albums, did some gigs, and here we are!
So why the name? Well, for us the great hymns set the standard of what powerful words and powerful music sung together can be like. We aspire to be like Watts or Toplady, who put their own powerful experiences of faith into the great songs which have given comfort and encouragement to generations of believers.
hey you guys all so inspirational! I love listning to your music and i think that it is such a great way to hear about great Jesus and how great it is to be be a chistian!! At my youth group we play heaps of your songs and that heaps awesome!! Hey guys. Woa that concert was awsome. Haha people i got like half the bands drinks. I swear i gonna get daddy to have them individually framed. Haha them when you guys get even more awsome (if possible) and famous. Ill sell them on ebay. And be richer than daddy. Haha i think Allana your right. I should year my wig to all your gigs. Haha i gonna follow you to all youthsurges just because i can. And my brother works for them sortaish he works for the bible society and somehow that relates to surge. Haha well anyway guys. You guys are real encouraging from a Christian perspective. Because you show people that you can be Christian and COOL. People need to know this. Personally i am unembarrassable so its good for me. But some people are ashamed to be christian. But you guys are proof that there is no need. Thanks a lot. Take care. Keep with god.

i was at kyck this w.e and u guys were awesome. thanks for adding me and btw i bought ur album itd pretty awesome. i play drums in my church we play average songs so im gonna request we play some of the ones you guys did this w.e cyaz later
