A skater owned and operated organization, Garden State Rollergirls is New Jersey's premier all-female flat-track roller derby league, packed with strong, determined women. We pledge to skate as hard as we can, as often as we can, and with unmatched drive and enthusiasm. We uphold camaraderie, strength (emotional and physical), dedication, loyalty, friendship, skill, and passion above all else. Bruises are badges of glory. If you're not getting bumped, checked, or knocked on your ass, you're not trying hard enough. We skate hard, practice hard, and work hard to ensure every fan, at every event, is proud of every dime they laid down to watch us do what we do best: skate like the badass, tough-as-nails rollergirls we are.

It's been a while since I've seen a game. I'll have to come out again, but I won't be able to make it this Friday. I'll spread the word though. You should also consider having a rock or punk band play at the games!
