Slash's Snakepit, Micheal Lee Firkins, Pantera, Metallica, BLS, , Arch Enemy, Motley Crue, AC/DC, nicer stiff like Book of Shadows by Zakk Wylde, I really like Eric Johnson's stuff, Gary Moore - I had the pleasure of meeting him in a guitar shop and seeing him play from 2 feet away - it's really something! I'm really starting to get into Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, Xentrix, Obituary, Exodus, Death, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne, Bolt Thrower, Big Franklin, Bellamy Brothers, Marty Friedman, Annihilator, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Joe Bonamassa, Doug Rappaport, Whitesnake, Strapping Young Lad, Skarstein (I want money for that guys!), Texas Hippie Coalition... there's a lot of stuff! I think I'm becoming more of a rocker than a metalhead these days... and I'm discovering a love of eurotrance!!

When I write songs I try to get some kind of a groove going, and I love pedal licks in metal - there's nothing better!
I'm also a big fan of guitar solos but I'm not that great at actually writing structured solos for myself at this moment in time
I've been playing guitar for about 6 years now and I've recently started recording my own songs and stuff like that - I record them using a Digitech RP90 effects pedal, no amplifiers - this is why they don't sound quite as good as they could... but when I have the money I'll get a mixing desk and mic up my JVM and then these songs are gonna sound AMAZING!!

It's doing fairly well - I've finally got over half a million views! - but I figured I'd get one of these too to really get my music out there into the public concious, and hopefully garner some fans in the process!
Ok about me - I'm 20 years old, from leicester in the UK. I'm studying for a masters degree in mathematics, and I play guitar as a side project. I'm not currently in a band but I'm always on the lookout for one!
