About Gargamel and Goliath (formerly My Fish Hitler)
We're 'Gargamel and Goliath' a ska-punk-rock-thing from the Clacton/Colchester area.
Firstly:
Now here's a life story:
On a bright and happy sunny summers day once upon a time (2007), we (as a collective) had an idea ... to NOT play generic metal as we had been planning, and let our homeless friend dave (the rave) play trumpet, and to brighten things up a bit. Who would've thought it would turn out so bloody good?!
Since that sunny day we've played with a plethora of great bands such as: [Spunge], New Town Kings, Nothing can prove it, Dylan James, Street Light Youth, Brian Said, The Strangerhood, Fagan, The Barons, A Sense of urgency, Paradox, Funky loving spunk monks, Deadbeat alibi, BigTopp, Soliss, *ahem* koopa *coughs* and maaannnyy many more! :)
If we've left you out, I'm sorry, just send us an abusive message and we'll pop your name along with the rest of them, that is unless - of course - you wouldn't want to be associated with us, which is understandable.
We try and gig on the regular, and there's always been at least one up, if we gig in YOUR area, we try to get in touch to say, but it always helps if you pop on every day for an hour or so to check (I understand that this may be asking too much ... but you don't mind do you??)
