Nel 1999 tre amici, Mauro, Matteo ed Enrico provenienti dalla desolata e noiosa periferia di Treviso accomunano la loro passione per il punk, l'hc ed il metal passando la maggior parte del loro tempo in sala prove imbastendo svariati progetti che vanno dall' hc melodico al metal infernale.La lineup cambia molte volte, ma nel 2000 ancora non hanno un cantante.
Dopo aver composto una dozzina di pezzi, Matteo decide di suonare la batteria e cantare; nascono ufficialmente i Gargantha, Metteo voce/batteria, Mauro alla chitarra ed Enrico al basso.
Alla fine del 2003 alla lineup si aggiunge una seconda chitarra, quella di Denis. La lineup ora Ë al completo.
Da sempre fortemente ispirati a band socialmente impegnate, i nostri testi spaziano tra il personale e le problematiche sociali, ambientali e politiche che viviamo ogni giorno.
Giriamo un po' tutt'italia passando per posti occupati, centi sociali e club, dividendo il palco anche con band come Satanic Surfers, Belvedere, Venerea, Strike Anywhere, New Mexican Disaster Squad, Down By Law, Ten Foot Pole, Rentokill, Travoltas e molte altre italiane e non..
Nel 2000 esce il primo demo in cassetta con una decina di pezzi. Nell' inverno 2001 entriamo per la prima volta in studio e registriamo "BoycotFriendo" il primo CD EP con 5 pezzi prodotto da MusicTrick Rec. Nell'estate del 2003 registriamo il vinile 10" split con i Rip Roaring che esce prodotto da Dadadischi (TO).
2004 contattati dalla Black Konflik Rec esce in Malaysia "Mors Tua Vita Mea" una mini raccolta che contiene il primo EP, 10" split, inediti e live.
Nell'estate 2005 registriamo in 2 giorni su nastro bobina ed in presa diretta i pezzi per lo split 7" d.i.iy. conspiracy assieme agl' Evolution So Far, pi˘ 2 inedite tra cui il primo pezzo in italiano.
Periodo di transizione, la band sente l'esigenza di qualcosa di nuovo nel proprio sound, e decide di cominciare a comporre per cantare in italiano; nel frattempo esce nel 2006 prodotto da Rolling Anarky la discografia completa contenente anche inediti ed il primo demo.
2008 esce lo split 7" con LETORMENTA, primo lavoro tutto in italiano.
2009 E' pronto il nuovo full lenght interamente in italiano

In 1999 three friends, Mauro, Matteo and Enrico, coming from the desolate and boring outskirts of Treviso, unites their passion for punk, hc and metal spending the most of their time basting various projects that goes from the melodic hc to the infernal metal.
The lineup change many times, but in the 2000 they still don't have a singer. After having composed a dozen of songs, Matteo decides to play the drum and sing; Officially born the Gargantha, Matteo voice/drum, Mauro at the guitar and Enrico at the bass guitar.
At the end of 2003 to the lineup a second guitar is added, it's Denis. The lineup is to the suit now.
Since ever strongly inspired to social band, our lyrics goes from personal things to socials, ambientals and politics problems that we live every day. We play around all Italy in occupied places, social centers and club, dividing the stage also with ands like Satanic Surfers, Belvedere, Venerea, Strike Anywhere, New Mexican Disaster Squad, Down by Law, Ten Foot Pole, Rentokill, Travoltas and many other italian and foreign bands..
In 2000 we print the first demo tape with a dozen of songs.
In the winter of 2001 we enter for the first time in a recording studio and record "BoycotFriendo" the first CD EP with 5 songs, it's procuced by Musictrick Rec.
In the summer of 2003 we record the 10" LP split with Rip Roaring, it's produced by Dadadischi (TO).
In 2004, contacted by Black Conflict Rec it's out in Malaysia "Mors Tua Vita Mea", that includes the first EP, the 10" split, unpublished songs and lives.
In the summer of 2005 we record in 2 days on tape and in the songs for the 7" split d.i.y. cospiracy with Evolution So Far and 2 unpublished songs among which the first song in italian.
Period of transition, the band feels again the demand of something in the proper sound, and decide to start to compose to sing in Italian; in the meantime we print the complete discography containing also unpublished songs and the first demo, produced by Rolling Anarky Rec.
In 2008 we print the 7" split with Le Tormenta, the first work all in italian.
In 2009 it's ready the new full lenght, all in italian
