I record the music in my room, with nothing, but a laptop, a mixer, and mic.
From Delray Beach, FL. Been jammin' since I was a little grom. Love to play acoustically, but I'm also in a reggae/jam band called High Street. I am a self-taught guitarist, never had the time for schedule lessons, so I just throw some riffs together and hit them with some lyrics. I hope that I can continue to create music in the future, this is something I am going to stick with.
(Continued) he Scored the music for Lord Of The Rings, he gave a Lord Of the Rings Concert where they played the movie while his 300+ orchestra conducted the music all the way through the credits. It was one of the best concerts ive ever seen!, I met him backstage after and asked him about Berklee (cause he went there) and asked him about majors and stuff like that. Thats one of the cool things about Berklee is that soooooooooooooooo many famous people have come out of there, like the guy who scored the music for Pirates of the Caribbean, and the Guy who scored the music for The Simpsons went there, just to name 2, but tehres 3 walls filled with big name film composers and their movies theyve scored that you would recognize. One of the other cool things about Boston is that theres a shit load of famous people around here. Wycleff Jean just stared classes at Berklee last Monday, and Nick Jonas is suppost to start classes at Berklee next semester, so that should be intersting haha. There also shooting a movie directed by Adam Sandler staring Tom Cruiz at the Heins convention center right next to my dorm. I snuck back stage and saw all the sets, and then noticed that all the extras were whearing suits and were around my age, so i made friends with the security guard and went back to my dorm and put on my suit, Then i went back and met the director of casting, and he said he liked my look and was going to sign me up on the exras cast for this Wednesday's shooting, hopefully that falls through haha, Thats basically whats going on right now man
Hey Nick whats goin on man?, Thats sweet with all your shows comin up, and Cerveza! Boston is soooo fuckin awesome man, they have the oldest of everything and the best of everything, and marijuana is decriminalized in Boston, so you know how that goes haha. Im currectly a member of the oldest YMCA in the country thats right down the road, and the oldest firestation in the country is 1 block away from my dorm room. EVERYONE in boston is around the age of 20, and even though theres only a 28% girl population at Berklee, theres soo many more colleges with smokin hot girls that it feels like theres at 80% hot girls only population haha. Schools been soo sweet, i only have 1 liberal arts class, (english) and its easy as shit. I ahve ear training, Harmony, Arranging, Keyboard Reading, Keyboard Comping, INtro to Music Technology, 1 Private Lesson every week, and a Contemporary Styles Ensemble where we learn Rock, Reggae, Funk, classic rock, Bosa Nova, Jazz and any other contemporary style. Im part of the Film Scoring Club, which is sweet, and im pretty good friends with one of the main directors of the club. Im dominating in all my classes, and am probably gona get straight A's this semester. I cant declare my major until next semester because they wont let you, but i think im gona double major in Film Scoring and Composition, and keep my preformance aspect of my music growing outside of a major. I haven't met any keyboardist yet who can play at the difficulty level that i play at, but they know a lot about jazz and stuff, which i have to learn. I just got back from New York last night, i went to go see Howard Shore's concert at Radio City Music hall, he Scored the music for Lord Of The Rings, he gave a Lord Of the Rings Concert where they played the movie while his 300+ orchestra conducted the music all the way through the credits. It was one of the best concerts ive ever seen!, I met him backstage after and asked him about Berklee (cause he went there) and a
