Known for their Great Tasting Original Rock and Roll Sound, Garpike is an Amazing Group of Guys from the Chippewa Valley. These boys are concaucted of 3 friends who met while acquiring an early childhood education in the lovely township of Altoona, WI...William Cooney (percussion), Todd Adams (Bass), and Andrew Sedahl (guitar) have all shared the same love and hate of the teachers and patrons that dwell in the wonderful place we call A-Town! Daniel Comstock (vocals) is from Merrillan, WI and met Mr. Sedahl in College at Stevens Point. They shared a roof and walls while studying and getting into as much mischief and mayhem as they possibly could without ruining their wonderful reputations as studious young lads earning a quality education from one of the finest institutions in the land.
The crew celebrated its first show on New Years Eve of 2006, at the Bullpen Sports Bar with local cover band Convicted. Garpike has been picking up a strong following as local band in the Valley, and has opened for great bands such as Crash Anthem, Scarlet Haze, The Goodyear Pimps, The Mellismatics, GingerJake, The Green Mountain Rebels and Battery: A Tribute to Metallica! and many others as well. Garpike has also Headlined many of their own shows, and has lately been playing FOUR HOUR SHOWS in and around the Eau Claire area!...(with a couple of breaks of course!)
Influenced by every type of music genre available to mankind and others not available to mankind, Garpike gives a twist on music with there own unique style ranging from funk, folk, punk and just plan old rock and roll. Having high energy songs such as Dark Glass, Insatiable, Are you ready for the Rock?, Space Robots from the Future, and Fore, the crowd is always in for a good show that’s full of fun and excitement! Always developing new songs currently totalling in the upper twenties, Garpike is ready to rock your pants off and then some! Although they only do a few covers...most of which you may not know, they are always writing new songs and you never know when they will be revealed at a live performance! Playing many local venues such as The Stone's Throw, House of Rock, My place and Two Waters, Garpike is ready to keep you entertained the WHOLE TIME they are playing!
