Influences
Umm..I REALLY don't know. But I have a great respect for musicians in general. I listen to so much music and hear so many different musicians who are just awesome. But if I had to pick one I would have to say Jesse Sprinkle, the drummer for Dead Poetic. He has also been the drummer for many other bands such as Demon Hunter, Starflyer 59, Kutless and he is just a great all around musician. I try to do sort of the same thing by learning how to play different instruments such as drums, bass and piano. Trying to get the guitar down right now. I also get influences from many different bands like TOOL, ISIS, RISHLOO, Pelican, Neurosis and bands with a progressive style such as theirs.
Music is an excellent form of expression. And this is really the only way that I feel I express myself. Whether or not someone enjoys my 'expression' doesn't really concern me. It's somewhat of a selfish act on my part but that's the point. This profile is for me. You are more than welcome to view and listen all you want.
O.k., my name's Garrey. I was playing on the keyboard one night and was getting bored so I decided to create a MySpace account, record and upload a few songs. So...that's basically it. I love music. I play the drums, bass and more recently the piano. I'm not the best at piano but I've not been playing that long so I think I'm doing o.k. for a beginner. I've been playing the piano since October of 2006 or something so not TOO long. So...don't get your hopes up for some great classical music or anything. I think...I messed up on pretty much all of the songs that I recorded. But I don't care. I kept on messing up so this was the best I could do and I wasn't about to do it again. Bloody annoying. The songs I record are either covers or songs I wrote myself. I'll normally post a bulletin telling if I wrote it or I just covered it. I try to upload a new song about once or twice a month so check back for new stuff or watch for a bulletin by me or something.

Garrey sucks. He is all engaged and stuff, and I suck just cause I suck. I am envious of you in some ways Mr. Adams. I will always be your first love though. I want to listen to your "whispering eye" !

Staring at a curtain does sound like video game music, but I think that's a good thing, personally. I like creepy music.
