    With his future wife’s encouragement (Her motto being "No Regrets"), John started performing stand-up in 2004. That year he was selected to perform in the "New Comics Contest" at the NY Underground Comedy Festival where his stand-up was featured on XM Satellite Radio. John continued to hone his act and a year later won the Judy Carter Palm Springs Comedy Conference Showcase. Serious about pursuing stand-up, he moved to Boston, a city rich in stand-up tradition. He quickly established himself as an up and coming comedian in the area and was selected to perform in both the 2007 and 2008 Boston Comedy Festival. John also works as a comedy writer. He has written for the “Latchkey Kids”, a sketch group with Improv Boston. He also has trained in sketch writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York.
