Ltd. in Japan & Cherubian Music Inc. in the USA, is now celebrating over ten years of extraordinary music making in Japan.
Garrison lives & works in Japan with his wife & family of 4 children. He has produced sold out gospel concerts at Sweet Basil 131 in Roppongi & his Tokyo gospel explosion, taped in hall C, at the Tokyo international forum with his 55 member ( predominately Japanese ) contemporary gospel chorus "The Tokyo for Christ Choir" ( seen on "you-tube" ), who also continued to make history by being the first Japanese choir to be heard on main stream
( American ) FM radio, along with his group of extraordinary musicians & singers, "Faith to Faith".
He has worked with a diverse array of renowned artists & groups in the states, from The Platters & the Tams on the blue chip ( Vegas ) circuit, to Sister Sledge, Andrea' Crouch, former Chic member Raymond Jones, & renowned drummer Omar Hakim. He has also worked with an A-List of major Japanese artists as well, such as Chemistry, Bird, Misia, Maki Oguro, Tomiko Van ( of "Do as Infinity" ), Morning Musume & others, as well as written & arranged songs for Avex artists. He has been featured in music media magazines around the world.
Garrison has appeared on numerous videos & commercials in Japan. Garrison has met with & performed for presidents, heads of state, sheiks & various VIP's in his global travels. He was presented a "1000 points of light" award by President George Bush sr. for his musical composition "Wings of Hope". He is good friends with grammy award winners Andrea' & Sandra Crouch ( innovators of contemporary gospel music ).
Garrison is also the writer & producer of the recent international campaign song "World of Friends ( Song for Obama )" performed by his new visionary group "Change to Change", used for US democratic presidential candidate Barrack Obama.
Garrison is & will continue to be a driving force of musical leadership in Japan & the world.
