Sounds LikeMy guiding principle has been to try to make music that is both audience-friendly and challenging, beautiful in the conventional sense albeit made using unconventional means. Recently, I've composed pieces for steel drums, the glass armonica, the charango, and unusual guitars. My guitar music is accessible, modern solo guitar music, played on a variety of instruments, blending classical and world music traditions.

Hello Garry,

good to hear from You and good to hear Your music again. I didn't seriously expect You to come, although I would surely enjoy to see You again. No, I don't play with Sascha's project anymore. I decided not to, because Sascha's idea about my job just wouldn't become mine. More a belly -decision, really. Hope to see You again some time, maybe another long car-ride somewhere.

All the best

Jochen

Hi Garry,

Chasing Light kicks ass!

Would I be able to get a score for Toccata?

If you have any other pieces for solo electric guitar I would live to play them.

Hey Garry,

great that You are on myspace, too, now! I hope it helps spreading the news about Your wonderful music. And finally I got to hear some of that guitar-music, You told me about.
Hope to meet You again in real life some day for music and the craic.

All the best

Jochen Vogel
