About me: My husband and I have been happily married 21 years and involved in many different aspects of Christian ministry for more than two decades. Working with the Salvation Army for several years - striving to be the "hands of Jesus" - we count it a privilege to have ministered among the homeless, drug addicts, alcoholics, unwed mothers, inner-city youth and prisoners. We also helped Christian ex-offenders adjust to life after incarceration while Gary served as a volunteer chaplain to Parchman Penitentiary's "Death Row." And for almost ten years we met the needs of troubled adolescents by becoming “mother” and “father” to countless children who had been abused and neglected.
Right now we stay busy writing for Christian magazines and websites. And we have published our own book entitled "Does God Really Prefer Men?" It addresses the very controversial subject of biblical equality within the Body of Christ. If you'd like to view any of our articles or get your free eBook of "Does God Really Prefer Men," just visit our website. The book is a gift to you, with no strings attached. We don't need your home address and you won't be added to any "mailing list" - simply visit the website and follow the directions: www.DoesGodReallyPreferMen.com. And if you'd like a print copy, they are very cheap and also accessible from our website. Be blessed!
In Christ,
Leslie
Passage Isaiah 53:5: 5But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
"Your messages confirm what the Lord has been speaking to my heart...I am His; I am wonderfully made; and I live in faith, not fear. Your messages speak to secular issues from such a godly perspective. We don't need to seek answers. Through His son, Jesus, God provided all the answers in His Word. Thank you!"
