Gary Applegate Plays Blues
He plays blues as a solo, blues in a duo and blues in a band. Gary’s performances are always a party in progress. Every show is straight up fun! There's typically a party on the stage, a party in the club, misbehaving on the dance floor and foot stompin under the tables.
The sets are full of songs with infectious grooves and clever lyrics that'll have you smilin’ and dancin’ all night. Odds are, you won't recognize any of them. If you're looking for the same ol thing, listen to somebody else.
Gary's philosophy is simple: Play what you love and the people will too. When you add Sal Barbera on lead guitar and lap steel, then bring in Brian Yarde on drums (and anything else he can bang on), audiences are hard-pressed to stay in their seats.
