About me:
I am proud to be running for Mayor of the City of Richmond. After serving five years as a member of the Richmond City Council, I have learned a great deal about the needs of our City. I am confident that my background along with my experience on the Council will qualify me to be a good Mayor for our City. You will learn more about me and my background on this site, you can also review my platform and priorities for making Richmond a better place for all of us.
As the Mayor I will commit myself to bring the Council together to focus on the priorities that face our City. I believe everyone in our City has value and something offer to help us achieve our goals. I also believe it is important for people to feel like their opinion or point of view is heard.
My leadership style is to include not exclude citizens to move the business of the City forward. I have the training and tolerance to talk with and work with people that I don’t agree with. I know how important it is to respect the opposite point of view, especially in a political environment.
