Gary Churr and The Beers came together after Gary Mervin Churr (myself) met with a good bunch of pisshead blokes and blokettes (later known as The Beers) down at the Wainui tavern. We all had an interest for southern chugg music, drinkin' beer and havin' a darn-good-ol'-dog-gone time
We started out procrastinatin', and also doin' a whole heap of bloody nothin', jammin' every few months and throwin' up on each others carpet, until...Terry discovered...we all had somethin' in common; the knack to skull REAL brews, and the knack to write some darn good ol' Drunkin' Slidin' Chuggin' Rockin' Churrin' Fuckin' tunes.
So when we come by your way in the Booze Bus with our noise makin' toys and our drinkin' skullin' toys, make sure ya come on down, test your skulling skills and drink the night away while movin' to the groovin' tunes. Ohh yeah!
