The concept behind this album is: What if you drove across the state of Tennessee from Bristol to Memphis and every now and then you pulled off to the side of the road to hear some live music? What kind of styles would you hear and see? We like to think on the start of the journey we would run into a lot of acoustic bluegrass, country, and folk. When you hit Nashville things would start to get slick and electrified, and by the time you got to Memphis you would be into the sweet sounds of soul and the blues. This is, of course, our interpretation of that road trip. We hope you enjoy our brand of Americana Music.
