About International Recording Artist Gary Jennings
Gary was born in Sidney , a small town in upstate New York. He started his singing in church at a early age
.Gary sang lead in several bands like the Country Gamblers, Desperado's and Gary Lee And The Ectasy in upstate N.y
He travled from state to state also ,singing with various bands from Flordia to Texas , where he sang at Guileys in Pasadena
and was fortunate enough to meet Mickey Gulliey. Gary has been lead singer in various bands. The most recent was his band Midway .
Gary went to Nashville in 2001 and recorded his first all original cd Phases of Time .
While there he performed in Tootsie's and in the Nashville Palace. Gary is now doing a professional track show.
He also does alot of benefits for people that need help. Gary's show is a variety of different kinds of music from classic
country to classic rock, 50's - 90's and some new country. Gary try's to perform in Nashville as much as he can.
He performed at The Jamboree By The Lake in Winchester Tn.with many major and indie artist in 2006 .
Through the years Gary has opened for many National Acts such as: Johnny Paycheck, Dan Seals, Hank Williams III,
John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band Known as Eddie and the Cruisers, Conway Twitty, Charlie Pride,
and Melvin Seals and The Jerry Garcia band for a few. Melvin was the piano player for Jerry Garcia and The Gratefull Dead.
Gary is charting overseas with songs from his cd's. He has been featured in the April, 2003 Country Western Magazine
and 2003 Country Roundup Magazine. Gary recorded his second cd Doing It My Way which also is getting worldwide airplay.
. Gary has won the International Country Male Rising Star of the Year Award , and 2- 2002 Career Achievement Awards in
Nashville and from Las Vegas. He also is in the New York State Hall Of Fame of honors at the New York State Country Music
Hall of Fame in Cortland N.y. . He was also nominated for the Trailblazer Award in 2005 which was giving to him in Beaumont Texas.
Gary in 2005 was inducted in the New York State Country Music Hall Of Fame with Brian Prout from Diamond Rio and Victoria Shaw
a famous song writer from Nashville. Gary has now recorded a 3rd cd Hobos Heaven which is also charting overseas.
He also just finished an eleven week tour in New York at a well-known resort where Shania Twain used to perform.
Gary just had four of his songs in a movie that was just released Oct. 2007. Now Gary is performing all over New York and doing
what he likes to do the best (entertaining ). If Gary isn't doing his music and performing he loves to spend quality time.
He likes watching movies, fishing ,and just spending quality time with his loveones.

dad well its been a long road and journey for me and u i just dont think i have sat down and actualy told ya things if i have its been awhile. Well dad no matter what we have gone through it always has been me and you alot of things i did through the years have been some tuff things on u and im truley sorry for that . I never relized the things u have gaving me and tryed too teach me was right . I had too be a ruff neck and learn it all on my own. Through all that i disrespected the only person that has always been there in my life. i looked up too you alot in life you were one of the big influences to me. i gain alot of knowledge from you dad and the most i never even came out too you or my self but alot of love. i respect you dad i really do im happy i have a father like you everything u have done at tymes u can say it was wrong but if u look at it it was just for the better. thank you for making me the man that i am today it took awhile too grow up but i think i have gottin there i wanna give up at tymes but i look at my life and look at u and say too my self in everything my dad has been through would he. its a hard journey out here but my promise too u dad i will always stay strong and never give up and keep our name going strong its gonna take alot of work but im proud of who i am and what i gotta work for our family line cuz my family in many ways are the most important thing in life too me i love you dad ty
