Born in Detroit. Don't want to die in Detroit, and that's why I made the move to LA in May '05. I'm a bass player, and since 2000, been playing this new awesome instrument called the "NS/Stick." It's an 8 string tapping guitar/bass hybrid that allows me to play a bass line with my left hand and a melody/solo with my right hand at the same time. I do quite a bit of live looping where I lay down a bass line, layer a melody over the loop, then solo over both loops. You can check out some of my live video clips below, or via my site www.garyjibilian.com, so you can get an idea of what I do live, but nothing beats the live show.
Hahaha, well, thanks for letting us come out there and hang and for picking up the tab at dinner. Was definitely a good time. Love the music, can't wait for the CD. When you guys come out our way, I'll make sure you're hooked up.

Myspace videos don't work sometimes, it's kind of weird, but I don't have any more, I will put some on youtube when I have time. It was really cool hearing you guys play and push the boundaries of traditional music, something I always like. Maybe if Cynic goes on a tour after their new album, you could play with them.
