About me:
Gary Wayne King Jr.
Gary Wayne King, Jr. Our beloved son, Gary Wayne King Jr., departed this life on September 20, 2007, at the age of 20. Gary was born on June 2, 1987, a fifth- generation San Franciscan. The family moved to Berkeley in 1993, where Gary enjoyed school and friends. The family moved to Oakland in 2002, where he formed strong bonds with friends and the community. Gary was pure-hearted with an infectious smile and personality that drew people in. Our hearts are broken we are forever thankful for the time we shared. He leaves to mourn his passing his father Gary King; mother, Cathy King; sisters, Noreen and Noel; brother, Jamaya; nephew, Douglas Wood; grandmother, Jean Haber; grandfather, Charles Pointer; his love, Ashante Simpson; all aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Services will be held at the Beebe Memorial Cathedral in Oakland on Tuesday, October 2 at 11 am.
