    Pros Vs. Joes just freakin rules!! My brother wrote the original pilot. Wedding Crashers, and anything thats funny. Sports 24-7. I love the Cowboys, Florida Gators (BB and FB), Rangers, Yankees, and any form of racing. I'll watch cockroaches race if they are on. I am a big fan of House, Burn Notice, Psych, Monk, Bones, Nip Tuck, Rescue Me (I love this show, because Leary rocks), and of course, Joel McHale's Talk Soup!! For my world news, I watch Countdown. I like Olbermann because he is so factual. Every lie that the right tells he corrects and Keith is a stand up news guy. I respect the truth. Rachel Maddow is just awesome as well. Best 2 hour TIVO because you will know everything without the spin FOX News is known for. They are the worst new outlet and to top that off, Alan Colmes is gone. I will watch any race thats on TV on that given day. Being an heavyweight boxing historian, I always watch ESPN Classic for old fight footage.

    I read a lot of political news and current events. It's no secret or should come as no shock I hate the way this country is run. I am embarrassed with the way we are percieved in the world because of George W. Bush. I amazed how 1 person can ruin a country in a few years in office. I will never, EVER again vote for the GOP. They fuckin pander to the rich while flushing healthcare down the toilet for the middle class. I am a devought Catholic (even though I don't attend church) on a regular basis, in the eyes of the conservatives makes me a bad person or non christian??? This is what Fox News preaches in it's quest to ruin the world with this current regime of calamity. Id rather be a middle class, poor guy who has a family that is healthy and happy. Money make life easier, but not better.

    I have been inspired by a lot of people. I tend to focus on guys who have been down and gotten or came from a horrid beginning to make something of themselves later on in life. I admire my family, my wife works for one of the top mortgage company's in NJ, and I am real proud of her because again it shows you don't need 4 years and $90,000.00 of a Harvard degree to make it. I think college can be overrated. My brother because he is in law inforcement and again on any given day it's a dangerous job. I am proud of what I accomplished after broke my back. I worked on cars with my Father since 86 and when you realize your screwed and can't work it can overwhelm you, but I was lucky I had a hidden talent. And low and behold I was invited to Hef's mansion last summer. Again, you don't need a college degree to achieve good things. Paul Newman recently passed away this weekend and I just wanna say it's been an honor. Over the years Newman Haas Racing has treat us better than anyone in the paddock. We did a special tribute car for Paul a few weeks before he passed away and I am happy we made him smile. I think I speak for everyone in Chapparrels, we thank You for Everything, and 1 single diecast could never be enough! Godspeed Paul.

Without a doubt I have a great gig. Basically I started doing open wheel conversions on Ebay and now I make some of the best handbuilts any racing fan would want. My cars have been recognized the world over now as show pieces for Hollywood stars and all major racing teams in the world. All our Finishes are either PPG or DuPont who back us and I have to thank them. Also Gatorz designer eyewhere. We really have a lot of people who back what I do and without them it would be impossible to do what I do. I have the finest artisians who can do any car that is requested. Jimmy Dolan is my main man and he can make anything I throw at him. Some of the biggest accomplishments are working for Playboy Racing and being invited to the mansion for Hefs' 80th birthday weekend, most of Champ Cars finest drivers and teams, especially Newman-Haas who has treated us like royalty over the years. Before Paul Newman passed we did a special tribute car for him (which can be seen in my "new projects" folder and my real website") and it was special because we got it to him and he really freaked when he saw the design and lengths we went thru not just in racing but his movie career. I am really not worthy. I mean that!!! WE have great relationships with drivers around the world and actual in-house painters who hook us up with paint codes and graphics for the diecasts. That is what seperates us from anyone else. If you saw a car on raceday, and you like it, you will get an exact replica. Ask Graham Rahal or Michael McDowell,,LOL. One18racing.com is owned by Vic Varela (who runs my website www.chapparrelsdiecast.com) is a great friend and supporter. Now with the merger you can see we went thru great lengths to nail the Dallara the way we did the Lola. I just did a cool project with GATORZ which EADS Graphics designed and we produced for the CEO of Gatorz Kerry Lynch. The car cam out sweet. I have a few interviews up on the pages, so check them out. Also I will be on Speedfreaks radio the weekend of the 09 Long Beach GP. This niche has been the best thing that has happened to me and my family. Honestly, people strive their whole life to say we make it and I can say nothing could ever top Paul Newman, or Playboy, but I have made it to the top and I did not make it there alone. With the new series I know we are only going up from here. I also wanna thank Nubby from Nub Grafix (OCC) for all his help with custom painting. You rock Nub!!

Who I'd like to meet:

Meeting anyone that is just cool. My interests are endless. I am a sports junkie, music junkie, and being in the line of work (or what some deem as play) I meet a lot of cool people on a daily basis from around the globe. Racers from around the globe are sometimes hard to get to meet and I feel honored to meet and talk on a regular basis the drivers and teams because of our diecasts. It's so cool. Aside from sports heros I would be honored to meet Barack Obama. There was something special about him that made me take notice. And though I didn't expect him to run, when he decided to on the same steps Lincoln decided to run, every conservative in the country, feared this young man. This eloquent honest working class guy will be trying to take the country away from the grips of this current administration's agenda of doom! And guess what? He did it! The American people for the most part got it right. Everyone has different views and now is the time to be bipartisan and reach out to people who are in dire straits. I will focus a lot of energy this year on the 9th ward and the homeless as this is something of a monumental disaster. We need to get people power and back in homes. President Bush and his administration should be tried for criminal neglegence on hurrican Katrina, war crimes, illegal wiretapping (like Vince from Shamwow, we can't do this all day!") so you get where I am heading! GWB, is the worst President in US history. I am not a proud American when my country invades other countries on false pretences. To top that off he lied to the American people to boot after he was wrong. Tonight farewell speech was the best thing ever! So long you piece of crap! If you ever wanna know what this guy was like, read the former White House Press Secretary's tell all book "What Happened" and you will see this was a man who coat tailed Daddy his whole life and ran our country into the ground. Now with someone in office that will tackle the "major" issues that matter in this country, hopefully the hard right Hannity, Limbaugh, Ingraham, Savage and the Lucifer of the GOP Ann Coulters, get a life and just shut up. Us Liberals don't flood the airwaves with the venom right wing anti christ propanganda everyday! I would love to meet Michael Savage one on one. His comments on autistic children this year need to be addressed. I thought Rush Limbaugh mocking Michael J. Fox a few years ago was wretched but Savage mocking autisim is fucked up! 1 kid out of 165, Savage have a form of autisim. 1 out of 165 you moron.
