This is The Touch Live at AROTR playing You're In Control
Gary Quinn is the ex frontman of legendary 90's cult band "The Bobby Charltons". The band toured extensively, supporting names such as Blur, Squeeze and John Martyn amonst others.
They formed their own record label and released two crittically acclaimed albums,"God's Game"(CD and cassette) and "Glow"(CD only). The band also released two singles, a 12" single featured "A Man From Nowhere", "Message From Heaven" and "Lost In Another Time"and a 7" featured "Hole In The Sky" and "Bastard Town". All these records are now hard to find and attract good prices over the internet. They may be still available at gigs if you ask!
Gary is now performing solo at gigs which include acoustic renditions of the older stuff from the band days, plus newer compositions plus maybe a few classic covers.
Besides playing his own original gigs, he is also busy on the international cicrcuit, playing at Beatles Festivals around the world. See gig guide for details.
Gary is also currently recording new material which will be available soon.

Thanks for the add! Don't forget to check out Pop Go the Beatles this Tuesday 7/1 @ 9:00 PM EST on www. myspace. com/realmuzicwebradio This is another great 2-hour show, called The White Sessions. This episode explores the creation of the Beatles "White Album". Most of the songs for this double album were written while the boys were in Rishikesh with the Maharishi. Paul Saltzman joins us again to talk about the songs he heard the Beatles create while spending a week with them in India. We will also get to listen to the demo the Beatles made in May of 1968 at George's house "Kinfauns" in Esher. It's just John, George and Paul and their acoustic guitars laying down the basic tracks for the White Album. Plus you'll get to hear a few unreleased songs including a song called the Happy Rishikesh Song. To read a review of the show including an interview with show creator Woody Lifton go to http://www. earcandymag. com/PGB-interview-2007. htm
TEX LOVEBURY - Seems that the ..puter gremelins are busy eating your videos. I still haven't gotten the hang of putting them on the ..net. I'm still transfering the shows I recorded onto disc, and will send you what I recorded with you. I recorded the short bit I did with you in the Daisy room and you doing "I Can Feel Your Presence", which is a fantastic song my friend!! One to be really proud of!! Hope all is well with & Lynn, over in Leeds. Life is good here, but really uncommonly HOT! for this time of year. Hope to see you again real soon, either @ a Fab-fest or on your side of the lake, next time we make the trek. Cheers & Handle With Care, ROCKY LOVEBURY (aka: the 7th "Itchy")
Thanks for the friend request! It was SUCH a pleasure to hang out at the sing-a-longs and see you perform around the fest! You and the guys from Itchycoo Park, and my buds the Blue Meanies! SOOO much fun!!
Missed seeing your son's band this year. Maiya and I had a bit of fun with them and Robbers on High Street last year. We hung out with them in the Attrium Friday night until 5:00 AM Sat. morning!!! lol!!
The Cryers are going to be at the AROTR in Canada and Scranton. I most likely will attend the Canada one. Are you going to be there??
Hope all is well with you on your side of the pond! Take care, hope to see you soon!!
Was great to see the two of you...sorry we didn't say goodbye 'properly'. Hell, I couldn't say goodbye with my voice cracking anyway! It's like I got 'Cavern Throat' in Louisville!
Wish we could be in the UK in August. Maybe next year. Looks good for at least me & Linda for AROTR 09. Be good until then!
