Bio:

Hi, my name is Gary Reynolds. Texas is where I was born and grew-up. I moved to New Mexico in 1991 and settled in the East Mountain Range of Tijeras, N.M. I learn to play the guitar at the age of nine years old. I sing and write songs...both lyrics and music. The music that influence me most was John Denver, Michael Martin Murphey and Neil Young. I performed with Bruce Channel, who wrote and sang the number one hit, "Hey Babe", in 1961. he was one of my mentors. And also Austin Texas music New Mexico music and Colorado music enfluence me as well too. I grew up entertaining in many western opries and bars of Texas. I have entertained all over New Mexico from Red River N.M. to Socorro N.M. i have entertained in Oklahoma and Colorado from Coffee House to Bars and Restaurants, Churches Coffee House and many funtions. I been playing performing over 38 years. The songs I wrote and you need to be watching for in the future are: "Red River Glow", "Harvey's Song","Flying High Like And Eagle","Green Chili Blues","New Mexico Moon", and many more.If you like the singers I've mention, you will enjoy my style of music Folk Country and Western style of playing these music that I write and performed cover tunes. I was selected as a finalist in the NMMA in the 2006 The New Mexico Music Awards for writing and singing "Red River Glow". "Flying High Like And Eagle will be on CD Call "Son Of The Best of New Mexico Western!". A producer is putting my song of mine on this CD with other well known Artist on there.
