GARY T. is a native and lifelong resident of Lockport, La. A self taught musician, he began taking an interest in music at the young age of three years old, slowly learning to play guitar and piano. He joined his first band at eleven years old, playing lead guitar and honing his skills as a lead vocalist. He began his songwriting in 1977 and released his first 45 record, called “No More Loneliness” b/w “Just Because” by Lloyd Price. He has not only written songs for himself that were locally successful, but has also written songs for Zydecajun star, Wayne Toups, such as Oh What A Night, Ma Belle, and Southern Girls. Gary is known as part of the former father/son duo, “DEUCE OF HEARTS”.
