In 1981, He formed a Country Gospel Group called the "Hometown Christian Band". With his brothers Peter and Paul and a friend Jerry Labbe. They performed at outdoor concerts "Canada Day Festivals", at Coffee Houses, Welcome Hall Mission in Montreal. Gary V. wrote many great Country Gospel songs. The Hometown Christian Band recorded an album in 1983 most of the songs were written by Gary and his brother Peter.

Gary V. is a Baby Boomer that's why he wrote a song about it.
He loves Country Music and you will find it in his voice that he was born to be a Cowboy which you will discover in Better late than never Volume 2.
But for now let's talk about Better late than never Volume 1.
Those songs were Gary V.'s life story. Gary V. is a singer songwriter since he was 16 years old. He has been playing in many Clubs, Coffee Houses, Churches, subways...etc... In 1986 with his brother Peter, He performed live on CJAD Radio Montreal with John Oakly as the radio Host. In 1991 He was in a local Newspaper call the Chronicle where Gary had his profile and part of his life story and his music.
Gary V. plays guitar, bass guitar, piano and give his heart 100% to his harmonica.
Gary V. sings with not only his warm voice, but also with his eyes and with his heart.
