Gary Zoellner is a singer-songwriter based in northern Virginia. He has performed at numerous venues including Bangkok Blues, The Reston-Herndon Folk Club, The Firehouse Grille, and Red Rocks Café. He sometimes performs as a duo with singer-guitarist Jay Garrison. His writing style is mainly rock and pop, with occasional forays into pop-country and pop-jazz. He has been influenced by the Beatles, the Who, Coldplay, Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, R.E.M., Mark Knopfler/Dire Straights, Green Day, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Paul Simon, the Eagles, and many others. Gary is a member of the Songwriter's Association of Washington (www.saw.org), and ASCAP. He enjoys collaborating with other songwriters. He is also a member of the rock band The Outliers (www.myspace.com/outliersrock), who are available for private parties.
