it all started in the early nineties..
mic and ryan got together in Inverness. Ended up in Edinburgh mid nineties. Teamed up with blade and neil and started gigging and developing their sound.
Released 'Alexanders dark band' in 1999 and quickly disappeared again around
2002. After three more years of not much they re-appeared with the album 'An
uncertainty principle'. The band returned to the stage with a little help from their friends - cutter(guitar&bow), newton(guitar) & di(violin) in 2006.
Two years on, gasgiant are back writing new stuff for the next release, due out
whenever it manifests itself. Cutter, newt & di are sadly no longer with the band and there is now a cello player - atzi.
Before the next album is released, the band plan to put out a cd of unreleased tracks and versions called 'Fear is only a dream' available only on cd-r at gigs.
