Genuinely, there are far to many influences to write down. Each member of the band is into lots of different artists and styles of music. On some we agree, on others we don't, but it all goes towards shaping the overall sound of the original material in some subliminal way!!!

We are an alternative/indie/pop/rock band from Cashel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. Gasoline Rainbow was formed after some demo recording sessions at GAF Studios were deemed to have some real potential. We have continued to write and record original material over the last few years along with taking the act on the road. We have built up a unique set of original material coupled with select and personalised cover versions.
Our main aim for the near future is to turn the last few years worth of original material into one strong and focused album.

i heard the da f**ckin rainbow were playin this wkend in the salabrious surrounds of the moor lane. i'll come for the tunes but not for the beer. i dont wanna be 'struck down by the rainbow' this time i.e. end up drunk and dying on saturday. from now on the term 'struck down by the rainbow' will be synonymous with bad hangovers and 'here comes the millenium' ringin in my head! i love ye really!!!
