About gastric ulcer [finished recording](now the rest)

Gastric Ulcer were founded in May 2005 in Feldkirch (Vorarlberg, Austria). The members are Tino Murnig (Guitar), Manuel Kühnis (Drums) and Bernhard Rusch (Bass / Vocals).

In 2006 they recorded their fi rst demo „Ants (all over my body)“. In autumn of the same year their fi rst mini CD „Of charlatans and cockroaches“ followed. The band created the complete artwork for the CD themselves. The second mini CD „Phall if you but will, rise you must“ was recorded in February 2008, which was totally self produced.

Their sound is rooted in Death Metal with infl uences from Thrash Metal, Grind- and Mathcore.

In their lyrics they express their criticism on recent trends of the society and the media business.
