Pedro E. Iniguez (Gatsby) was born in Los Angeles Ca, he is the son of two immigrant parents from Mexico and El Salvador. Gatsby grew up on Los Angeles East side and on the West side but now resides in the Valley. It was in his days in jr high when Gatsby started to listen to hip hop.
The first tape not cd that he bought he re-calls was "Gangsters Paradise" by Collio. It was during this time he was also having problems at home and he stated writing, some call it poetry, he calls it therapy. Gatsby didn't t start rapping until he was 17 years old. Going to parties and occasionally picking up battles and freestyles for fun.
Gatsby first passion was not Music it was playing soccer, but there were injuries and altercations with coaches that prevented him from even playing his senior year in high school.
In 2005 Gatsby made up his mind about rapping after putting out mix tape and having a good response from people. Doing shows in L.A and working with up and coming producers he continues to work hard and put out good music that reflect his life and the lives of the people around him. He Hustles for the "American Dream" just like any other MC.
