An intelligent man does not take part in the sources of miseries which are due to contact with the material senses.Mood: (none) Posted at 7:29 AM Dec 2view more
I am now based in Mayapur the headquarters of the Holy Name and its so blissful here, Its what I just wanted. We Go on harinam for 3 hours daily, I love to dance, chant and play my accordion during kirtans.:),
Its a great feeling to be dancing on the same street Lord Gauranga was dancing on few years ago:) and all that dust rising all over
Its a great feeling to see all what we've reading and hearing about the Holy Dhams., The Mayapurians are just so nice and austere people., I love seeing my Panca Tattva in their huge personality everyday in Mayapur., Gaura Purnima 2008 was the happiest and day I ever had, Of course the first harinam I went in Los Angeles is still a memorable day for me.:) Jai Gaura, Jai Nitai:):):):):)

Haribol thank you for the beautiful picture :) One of my favourites! The song is about the river, I'm not sure of the full translation but it's in Bengali and my mom told me what some of it means(she knows some Bengali) and O Nodire means O River. O nodire ekti kautha shudhai shudhu tomare = O River, tell me a tale Bolo kothai tomar desh = Tell me where is your country? Tomar nai ki chalar shesh = Your flowing has no end Tomar kono badhon nai = You have no restrictions Tumi ghar chhora che tai = You left your home where it is
That's all I know so far. Basically it's about a man asking of the river where he has been, wanting to know its stories, because it has no home, yet everywhere is its home :) Sound familiar? hehe
Hare Krsna Prabhu, how are you doing? I really love that picture of Yasoda and Krishna :) It's a painting by Madhava Priya devi dasi, a discipile of Bir Krishna das Goswami. There are other beautiful works of hers at her website: www.glimpseofkrishna.com Janmasthami was nice, I can only imagine how amazing your was - I hope next year Krsna will allow me to be in the holy dham to celebrate :)
It is naturally curly :) My daddy's gift to me...It's actually quite BIG and curly sometimes...but I had just washed it and it was really "tame" that day....hehehehehe... In the other pics it's straightened....It's not naturally straight at allllll
