A poet, storyteller, and a songwriter I be;
with wing’ed words, sweet music stirs
to lift the spirit free.
Donovan and Cohen meet James Taylor;
they embrace
this broad-minded Romanticist’s
contemporary face.

Hello!
Thanks for having a listen to my songs. But you may be thinking "who's Gavin?" I'm just a guy with a guitar and a story or two. I've spent my life trying to express what I feel for no other reason than to show empathy. I believe in freedom; that it's a state of mind that can be reached by letting go and reaching out to our loves and ambitions. And there is a fire in my heart; like the fire in the hearth, slowly, it burns and consumes the substance, returning my soul to the aether. So little time... so much to learn...
A Lover's Odyssey
With a unique blend of storytelling,
song and poetry, Gavin presents his
27-year journey from first love,
through lost virginity and on
in search of true love.
Often humourous, the story entwines
12 heartfelt songs, each one concluding
a chapter of the journey. Read the first chapter here. Available to buy direct from Gavin's website.
“... well-written, tastefully produced and [the music] compliments the the book/story beautifully.” — Cliff Goldmacher, Music Producer, New York and Nashville

I also worked on a proper release on my Hangman Records label, I think I will sell it at gigs and via post, it is a very limited edition of 500 copies.
Thanks for the ad! A friend of Adams is a friend of mine!!! Thanks for the comments, the music on my page is soooooo old now, it was actually my first gig so thanks!! Maybe I'll eventually get around to doing some recording some day!

Hey, Wanted to let you know a great development: Miramax films picked up my song "City Girls" to be in the the upcoming film "Adventureland" coming out this Spring! The film is by the director of Superbad and stars some pretty big names (Ryan Renolds from Van Wilder, Kristen Stewart from Twilight, Bill Hader from Superbad). It looks great!
I'm really excited about this, so to Celebrate, I'm throwing a big premier event when the film releases, complete with a showing of the film, a Programaddicts performance and an all out party! I'm working out the details now. I'll be extending invitations to everyone in the fan club.
If you have friends who might be interested, please pass this along. They can join the fan club by entering their email in the "Join the Mailing List" box on the page. I'm pursuing some record label opportunities in the wake of this development and the more people I have in the fan club, the better my chances are.
