Gavin has played out in clubs, bars and outdoor raves all around the UK and abroad for the past 11 years, he has the skills needed to rock a busy venue. He's able to use vinyl, CD's and other digital kit in the mix, his energetic style, good record cutting and scratching, EQ adjustment's and accurate tune dropping, ensure dance-floor Mayhem!
2006 was a hugely successful year for him, Influence was born! after events last summer involving outdoor marquees and generators Influence has now taking to the club scene at Lakota in Bristol with Gavin at the mighty reign, alongside the hectic promotion of a massively famous nightclub Gavin has also taken on a prime Techno dj resident position.
Gavin has spun with the most alluring of superstar dj talent: Chris Liberator, Jeff Amadeus, Anne Savage, Rowland the Bastard, Lisa Lashes, Dave Pearce, Judge Jules, Tall Paul, Dave Seamen, Sister Bliss, Benny Benassi, local legends Major Tom, DJ Wragg, Jay Sanders, Mark Neenan, 4Play, Dave Brown and so many more have shared exciting deck space.
Gavin's major early influences were dj's Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, Sasha and Digweed, clubs such as the Manor in Bournemouth, the Plymouth Warehouse, Lakota in Bristol not forgetting the legendary Pawlett Manor! are where he spent most weekends. Within a year of DJ'ing he secured his first residency at The Grove in Seaton, a night called Speakeasy that pioneered underground Hard House / Trance events in the UK South West. Here he built up a solid reputation for rocking parties with his wicked sound and style. He is renowned for his energetic House / Techno sets. In 2004 his mixing won him a finalist position in the DJ Magazine / The Gallery DJ competition. Held at the London super club Turnmills he finished in the final 8 DJ's! This proved that he's a true crowd pleaser with a lot of technical ability and upfront tune selections.
