Alexi Murdoch, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Brett Dennen, Damien, Rice, Grateful Dead, G. Love, Imogen Heap, Jack Johnson, Jose Gonzalez, Marc Cohn, Nickel Creek, Radiohead, Ray LaMontagne, Ryan Adams, Shlomo Carlebach, Sigur Ros (they have definitley influenced me...and thus i hope my music too. They have at least made me cry), State Radio, Sufjan Stevens, Thievery Corporation, Tracy Chapman, and I'm sure many many more. Also, every person that I have made a connection with has impacted me and being that my music is merely a vehicle through which I express my feeling/thoughts/ramblings/emotions i think they too should be noted....so....thanks guys.

Gavriel @ The Bitter End: It Aint Me Babe (Bob Dylan cover)
Growing up in a family of musicians, the question was not whether Gavriel was going to play an instrument, but rather what instrument he was going to play. At the age of four Gavriel started playing the cello. The cello playing has greatly developed his ear and you can hear his classical training in his musical style.
Gavriel mainly plays acoustic guitar and his sound has been compared to that of Damien Rice and Ray LaMontagne. He has played both internationally and throughout New York at venues such as The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Mo Pitkins, The Triad and several college campuses.
