Gawkagogo is the shared brainspace of Paul Garner and Sarah Nield. Creating freakazoid comedy and eye-popping art, live theatre shows, unique cabaret, T-shirts and merchandise, character, monster and incredible puppet design, Paul and Sarah have worked together for 12 years and intend to do so for many more. Past shows include 'Gawk!', 'Tiny Mo's Big Time Cabaret', 'Gawk-a-go-go!', 'DIE' and 'Vega$m'. Our new show is 'The GAWKAGOGO FREAKSHOW'. Characters you might have seen include Elephant Man Elvis, Norma Guntz (and her Tom Jones Celebrity Tumour), Dennis Hopperfield, Dali Parton, Liberarnie and Nosferatutu. Gawkagogo continues to look for ground to break and envelopes to push. All hail, Gawkagogo! Pay sixpence to see the freaks!

END OF GAWKAGOGO NEWS!
Frequently Given Answers:
1: Yes, we design and build it all ourselves. Every caricature mask, every out-there costume, every weird prop, every grotesque puppet is made by our own fair hands. Gawkagogo is what happens when the Punk DIY ethic grips obsessive perfectionists. We create art then perform it as comedy.
2: If it's sewn or created out of fabric, Sarah made it. If it's painted or built out of card or wood, that'll be Paul. Almost everything is a combination of the two. The masks are sewn, btw. Reviewers always say they're latex. They're hand-sewn, fiddly, detailed great bastards, thanks for asking.
3: There are two members of Gawkagogo. We employ other performers as and when we need them, which confuses people sometimes, but when backs are against walls and shit is hitting fans and floors are being paced, there are only two of us.
4: All our music is by Martin Pavey. Check him out at http://www.martinpavey.com . He's a genius.
5: No, we have no clue where the ideas come from. Try not to worry about it.
