Bio:

Having been brought up in a home where music was the cradle, the blanket and the mother tongue, to me home is music. Even when my mind wandered down the alleys of adolescence, where distractions were many, my heart still remained loyal to her omnipresent friend. I left home to study English Literature at the age of 17 but that's when I truly found something that dictates the literature of my life. I had discovered the beauty of the Blues, the comforting unpredictability of Jazz and the experimentation in alternative genres of Western music; yet there was a void. This was the moment of my homecoming for I explored the teaching ocean of Indian music, Carnatic and Hindustani Classical and fell hopelessly in love with something that always right in front of me. The songwriter inside me found her bliss and I've been writing, singing, performing and fulfilled since. My music combines the sensibilities and nuances of Indian music with alternative genres of Western Music. With a demo ready for the world, I wait patiently to tell tales with my music.
