Gaylord 9 was formed in 1990, originally a black metal folk band but due to lack of popularity decided to change their musical direction to Happy Hardcore which they kept throughout the 90s. however, in 99 the band decided that it was time for another change of style and from that day, Gaylord 9 became the Chinese traditional Grindcore band that we all know and love.
