About me:



I was born and raised in Enumclaw, WA, and moved to Everett, WA, for a few years. I'm now back in Enumclaw and realizing how much I missed it every day that I continue to stay here.
 
My family mostly lives in Tacoma, WA. Until recently most of them didn't know that I'm gay, though I imagine that they had their suspicions... My mom has known since around 1997, or so. I'm 37 years old now, so, I would have been about 26 when I came out to her. Everyone else found out about a year or so ago. I'm relieved.
 
I generally work in customer service/technical support related jobs but have moved into an entirely unrelated field: carpentry. I do finish carpentry for a small company in Seattle. I install door knobs, towel rods, shower rods, toilet paper holders, etc. It's not bad work and provides me with some good exercise. And I never have to hear customers bitching about their Internet connection or their piece-of-shit computers.
 
I enjoy digital photography and photo editing. This can be relaxing, challenging, and entertaining, all at the same time. I also enjoy motorcycle riding but had to sell my 1100cc Yamaha Venture Royale a few years ago. I miss it quite a bit. I have kept the motorcycle endorsement on my driver's license so that one day, when I can afford to, I can buy a new motorcycle. The weather in the Puget Sound area isn't all that great for riding but it's worth it for those few occasional days in the Summer when I can get a nice long ride.
 
I'm also a bit of a movie whore. I love watching movies in the theater or on DVD. The theater is better though. I love the big screen and seeing a movie with a crowd. It's fun and communal.
 
Anyways, I think that's enough for now.
 

Who I'd like to meet:

Eh, whoever. All of my friends are quite different from each other so how can I come up with a description of the type of person I'd like to meet? I am looking for a significant other, so I'm open to that. Friends are always good to have too. If you are a good person, friendly, intelligent, and have a sense of humor, we'll likely get along fine.
