After hours extraordinaire Gaz Donning hails from the Lake District, UK, and still maintains strong links with a music scene he dominated before moving to the city of Manchester to study a degree in Audio Engineering. From this post-industrial, post-haçienda musical melting pot, club night Method was created with fellow DJ Stealth1, gaining an immediate following within Manchester’s competitive underground music scene. Increasingly busy on this circuit, invitations to play at nights across the country soon began to roll in from the likes of Tribal Sessions, We’re Not Normal and Kill the Disco. Armed with new knowledge and contacts, Gaz Donning became the chief architect of monthly party LEAN.

, creating an underground outpost that has become a must-stop for the finest minimal and techno artists from all over the world. Recent news that Jeff Samuels will be playing at LEAN in June 2008 has caused quite a commotion. With a range of bookings confirmed, and a style that will join the musical dots, you can catch Gaz Donning at KRUCHT & FLUCHT (Leeds & Manchester) where he has a monthly residency, various festivals and club nights around the UK, or at one of his US tour dates (soon to be confirmed). All of which should do much to wet your appetite for his rather devious minimal and techno currently under production.
