The Gazetteers are from Albany and Brooklyn, New York. From 2004-2009 we've released 3 albums: Territory Songs, , Landlocked!, and We Are Here. For more info, go to www.thegazetteers.com, not here. We only think to log into myspace about once every six months.
Impressive? Ha! (well, perhaps if I don't compare myself to some guy I know named Frank who does a little bit of everything very well!!!) Orienteering--sounds like blast (and hence unlikely to be popular down here in Miami). Did you see the pic of Kevin and my kid?
In the New Year, may your right hand always be stretched out in friendship, but never in want. Here's health to those I love and wealth to those who love me.
On Saturday, I visted a tiny mess-of-a-record shop on the rue Andre del Sartre in Montmarte and was poking through a little box of 7-inches that contained a treasure of 90's singles from Refrigerator, Seaweed, the Bats and VEHICLE FLIPS! Made me wonder what you were up to - only to then receive your note the next day. Really enjoying the Gazetteers songs here. Let me know if you want to play a show in Paris (where I've now been for 4 years)....
i'm glad you found me on here. i forgot to search out popfest bands to add after i got back from athens. i enjoyed meeting you and hope anxiously that you will play somewhere in the vincinity of pittsburgh soon.
a pipe dream, perhaps, but nonetheless...
Hey why don't you folks put up some more of the great songs on (y)our album? Maybe some of the mastered stuff anyway, so it's all loud and stuff. Lots of love, Rob
sorry i didn't get to see you go.. but, i helped your brother move and you missed out on all of the fun.. it was great to play with you, again, even though i didn't get to ruin your set with my drumming.. i need to see you with a full band..
