I'm 33 years old, I'm married to my high school sweetheart (ask me about THAT story sometime!) and I have three wonderful kids. I currently live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, which, as you know if you've ever vacationed here, is a beautiful place to visit. It's equally as beautiful in the winter, but very quiet and COLD! I'm a Jersey girl at heart and I miss it often. (Especially snow. I miss snow.) I sing and play keyboard on my church worship team (Liberty Christian Fellowship in Kill Devil Hills, NC); I LOVE IT! I'm just finishing up my first year as a home-schooling mama; Katie FLEW through first grade (and we'll be a class of 2 starting this summer, as Micah will be in kindergarten). Let's see...what else? I volunteer at the Creation Festival every summer (www.creationfest.com check it out) as the steel crew supervisor and it's pretty much the highlight of my year. I do the same job at the Purple Door Festival in August (www.purpledoor.com) Other random facts about me: I'm practically OCD about list-keeping, I can pick things up with my toes (gross, I know; Jon says I have monkey toes), I'm a pretty haphazard housekeeper, my favorite color is green and I like silver jewelry. I hate folding and putting away laundry, so at basically any time you come to my house there are at least 2 unfolded loads of laundry somewhere. I love to sing. I can recite all the states of America in ABC order in under 20 seconds (and usually in 1 breath). I will be paying off student loans until I die. My favorite things to drink are black (strong) coffee, water w/ basil in it and Yuengling lager.

so, the random money you left in my car totally saved me the other night. i decided to drive to the dollar theatre and see the incredible hulk, because i had nothing better to do. but it had been a stressful day, so i was a bit absent minded and forgot my bag with my wallet. i didn't realize it until i got to the theatre. so you saved the day!
