SELL OUT SENSATION
"GBH Big Band did it again. Another sell-out gig enjoyed by young and old alike. Friday evening saw GBH Big Band and friends provide an evening of jazz with a range of exciting songs, from the swing provided by the band itself through to some cooler jazz and blues provided by the 'friends'.
From the moment the band walked on stage accompanied by the rhythm section, it was clear they had the stage presence and talent to keep the music fresh and vibrant.
The combination of very talented and varied musicians with the ability of the performers to engage the audience - at one point even singing Happy Birthday to a band member - made it a very enjoyable and lively evening.
