Ruben Obed Martinez is a Puerto Rican Singer/Songwriter/Producer. Winner of the 2007 PREMIO PAOLI as New composer of the year. Ruben Martinez has written hit songs for artists such as Sony's own George Lamond, Edgar Joel y su Orquesta,and many more and was the lead singer of Universal Records salsa group NEW STREET .Ruben Obed Martinez was the creative hand behind the demos which launched the carreer of Latin Grammy winning artist Obie Bermudez.
