Allow me to give you a brief synopsis:
My name is Gwen. I have an alter ego named Evan Xzavier... which makes me a drag king. Yes, I am a dyke! A very proud one at that! I dont shave my legs... I am often mistakened for a 15/17 year old boy... I get called "sir,man,bro,dude" on a regular basis... I steal clothes from my dad... I've been told that my voice sounds like Shane from "The L Word" on the phone... I am proud of who I am and I'm NOT changing for anyone. I've tried too many times already and at the end of the day I've had nothing to show for it. So either accept me & love me for it or leave me for I am NOT afraid.
I love/live for music. I front a metal band called Denied Zion (which if you're observant at all... is all over my profile). I've been playing guitar for nearly 9 years now. Her name is Jackie and I love her more than anything in this world. Ask my band... lol. I'm a metalhead/rocker by nature but I also listen to everything from Blues to Opera. I quite often hear symphonies in my head when I'm trying to write something melodic. I'm not much for country or rap... but everything else is gorgeous to me.
I am a sweetheart. 100% hopeless romantic. I am passive... hardly aggressive (unless playing in my band or you must've done something REALLY bad to piss me off). I believe in chivalry. A lady should be treated like a lady. I believe in opening doors, giving my jacket, manners and old school wooing. I also thrive on intellectual conversations... not just a woman with a hot body.
I am a poet. I will write what I'm feeling and the good lord knows that nothing will stop me once I've started. When passionate topics occur... so does poetry. It spews from every pore in my body. I see art everywhere... even in the most tiny things that nobody really ever notices.
I'm a christian. I attend MCCLV every Sunday and even sing in my choir! That's right... a gay friendly church! TAKE THAT AND PRAY ABOUT IT! :-)
I have a great sense of humor (crazy/goofball). I try to be optimistic. I love summer merely for the fact that I can drive with the windows down or sit out on my roof under the stars. I have an amazing band... which is like my 2nd family... a great family... amazing friends... my spiritual life is growing. I swear I have too much love to offer! haha!

About this page: I have been very active in Domestic Violence causes all of my adult life. I noticed a need in the world pertaining to Same Sex Domestic Violence. It happens more than people know. Unfortunately there are a number of gay people who barely consider themselves worthy or valued as a gay person much less a Domestic Violence Victim. There are also very limited resources, statistics, or information, for Same Sex Domestic Violence. Hopefully through empowerment and education we can change some of this. :D
